GMC Sierra

Time for another post, here it is,
The GMC Sierra 1500

(credit: www.caranddriver.com)
The GMC Sierra is a fantastic pickup truck. It looks really good, and with 365 horsepower, it can tow just as well as it runs. it also has 12,000 lbs of towing capacity. This means that the Sierra can tow roughly 3 Ford Crown Victorias! It can come in short crew cab, like the above image, long crew cab, short and long extended cab, and in short cab. As an option for the V-8 engines, you can get them bolted to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
We now present our guest-blogger (no, not Cory Doctorow), Stephen Buck!

Well, folks, coming from the south,  the only thing important about pickup trucks is the ability to hold water.  If you don't know what I mean you haven't driven around town with ten hot girls in the back, singing "luv me some Kailas" in 64 cubic feet of hot water.  So pay attention to the suspension in the back because no one wants a droopy rear end.

I will never let Stephen write a blog article again. I have shoved him into the bed of the truck we have on road test. I have also added bubble bath to the truck.
Take that, Stephen!

One post on this blog, one post on A Good Popular Blog about Bad Popular Cars a week, so stay tuned!

  1. Love your guest blogger. This is the funniest blog yet! I can tell you had a lot of fun writing it. I am a Dodge truck type of person, and my Ram is pretty awesome. That said, the GMC does look good.

  3. Because of the GMC marketing as the engineer's truck, every time I look at one of these I am expecting to see a guy wearing a plaid shirt with a pocket protector and 6 too many pens and a protractor to boot. If you're lucky enough to make it to engineer status, and are willing to pay this much to drive around and inspect dams, skyscrapers and refineries, one has to wonder if your head's on straight. The guy that really needs this is the guy who is going to actually use it. Engineers don't haul things! They design things and point fingers in between punching keys and picking their noses. These people drive Camry's!!!!
